## Biography of Ramona Patterson

Step into my world, where colors dance and canvases come alive with vibrant energy. I am a conduit for the forces of nature and the rich heritage that pulses through my veins-the Cajun culture.

When the enchanting melodies of Cajun and Zydeco music fill the air, I feel an undeniable connection to my roots, surrounded by the tantalizing aroma of chicken gumbo and red beans and rice.

My artistic journey has been a whirlwind, much like my service with the US Air Force. From exploring the world’s wonders to settling in the tranquil embrace of New Hampshire for three decades, my experiences have shaped my perspective.

But it was in the vibrant embrace of Florida, following my only child, that I discovered the true essence of my artistry. My creations reflect the natural rhythms that govern our world-the brilliance of light, the ebb and flow of tides, the cascading movement of water and the profound mysteries that linger in the vast expanse of the Universe.

Fluid art became my sanctuary-a realm where the culmination of my artistic years converges and explodes like a mesmerizing fireworks display. Colors collide with vibrational frequencies on the canvas, and my art creates breathtaking visions. My creations transcend the ordinary, embracing the ethereal dance of shimmering hues and cascading pigments. I infuse shimmer paint into my pieces, unlocking a world of movement and enchantment that captures the very essence of light itself.

My artistry embraces the ephemeral, reminding us that just like the passing of the day, moments of brilliance are fleeting.

My art was in Orenda Gallery in Reno, Nevada and the Com Center in Lakewood Ranch was my first solo show where I set a record for most paintings sold during my tenure there. You’ll find my vibrant artwork adorning the walls of Salon Suites in Lakewood Ranch, casting a spell of inspiration.

I was invited to exhibit at Art Basel, Miami this past December and was invited back again for a solo show in February 2025.
