John Guest – Printed Glass Wall Art for Corporate Interiors

High-resolution engineering photography transformed into a series of large-format printed glass artworks for John Guest's workplace.

Project overview

John Guest’s products, printed on glass.

John Guest asked CreoGlass to transform high-resolution photography of its products into a coordinated series of large-format printed glass artworks for corridors and boardroom areas.

John Guest is internationally known for push-fit connection technology used across plumbing, heating and fluid-handling applications. The brief was not to disguise those engineered products, but to celebrate them: take small, functional components and enlarge them until their shapes, materials and technical details became part of the visual identity of the workplace.

The first commission developed into a substantial multi-panel installation, followed by additional work afterwards.

The design idea

From product photograph to glass panel.

Working from John Guest's high-resolution source imagery, CreoGlass reproduced different products across multiple glass panels. The change in scale gave familiar fittings an entirely new visual character.

Blue, white, black and metallic components created strong graphic compositions, while the consistent glass finish and fixing method tied the separate artworks together as one workplace scheme.

Manufacture & installation

Fitting the artwork around the building.

Large printed panels only look effortless when the practical details have been resolved first. Panel proportions, fixing positions, wall services and the relationship to doors, windows and circulation all influence the finished result.

Where an existing wall fitting occupied one of the intended panel positions, the glass was manufactured with a precise circular cut-out so the artwork could remain aligned with the wider scheme.

Installation then focused on consistent spacing and level, allowing a series of individual pieces to read as one continuous brand environment.

The finished workplace

The finished corridor.

Seen individually, each panel is a close-up product image. Seen along the corridor, the installation becomes a branded sequence that gives rhythm and identity to the space.
