Frequently asked questions

Planning a feature mirror wall

A few practical points to consider before starting your project.

01

Are feature mirror walls made to measure?

Yes. The mirror finish, panel dimensions and joint positions are planned around the measured wall and surrounding architecture.

02

Which mirror finishes are available?

Options include clear, bronze, grey, antique and bevelled mirror. Suitable finishes depend on the design, panel sizes and intended application.

03

Can the panels accommodate sockets and switches?

Often, yes. All electrical fittings, openings and other obstructions must be identified before manufacture so they can be incorporated safely into the panel layout.

04

Does the wall need to be completely flat?

The substrate must be stable and suitable for mirror installation. Uneven or damaged walls may require preparation before fitting, which can be assessed during the survey.

05

What determines the cost of a mirror wall?

Cost depends on the overall area, mirror finish, number of panels, bevelled edges, cut-outs, access, location and installation complexity. Photographs and approximate dimensions are usually enough for an initial discussion.

06

Can CreoGlass survey and install outside London?

Yes. CreoGlass delivers residential and commercial mirror projects across the UK, subject to the project scope, location and access requirements.
