The overall design must consider panel depth, supporting structure, access for installation and future maintenance, driver locations, cable routes, LED diffusion, heat management and integration with surrounding joinery or finishes.

Alternative to Backlit Stone

Natural translucent stone can create beautiful illuminated surfaces, but it can also introduce challenges around weight, thickness, colour variation, fragile areas and uneven translucency.
